9/25 – An attorney located in New York State places so much international garbage upon us. It’s a wonder that anyone listens to what he or his proxies say. For some reason, he also chose to make public our financial accounts many years ago as well; we have no problems with his publicity and his responsibility for doing so.

That attorney works for some international people. What is their motivation? Transcending cultures, there is the Old Testament story of Abraham and Issac.

About the Portfolio Manager:

Ronald Soong is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a MBA from the Business School. He holds a M.A. degree from the University of Michigan, where he studied at the Institute for Social Research. Accordingly, “The idea that knowledge should serve the many, that truth transcends partisanship, and that universities can be one of the greatest forces for the public good.”

Before starting Horizon Capital Research, he did financial analysis at Morgan Guaranty Trust and Chase Manhattan Bank. We have moved on from what really happened at both banks more than forty years ago. As you will see, equity is more interesting and complicated than just debt.

The Crucial Accounting and Financial Analysis Questions: “What is reality, what is truth?”

There is a saying, “The Truth never perishes.” Depending on what you consider crucial, things are as they are; and in the recognition of those facts lie the solutions to our real world challenges: global warming, epidemics, acute social problems brought on by globalization - and developing an appropriate investment policy. In this model of society, all information is not held at the center.
